sighs...i think i need a major break from everything...which is likely
hard to do especially now...but hopefully it'll work out...just too
much has been going on...oh well...i guess i'll update once in a while
as always still...but in the mean time i would just like to wish the
best of luck to all my friends who are heading to college for their
first time this fall and also to everyone that's returning as well ^_^

. wow, look at the time...it's almost time to go back to
school everyone! *sighs* in a way i'm looking forward to go back to the
cornfields of Champaign-Urbana, yet there's also a slight part of me
that doesn't really want to go back. oh well. but who else is ready for
school, hmm?okie dokie...what else was i suppose to put up on my xanga now...oh
yea, just for my Lah...she wanted to see an updated picture of me, so

Well, I guess here’s the update that I promise you
all. First thing first, hope you all like my new layout and song! If you all
are not familiar with what the song is…it’s simply JJ Lin’s “1000 Years
Later”…beautiful song and great MV too! Anyways, nothing new has been up with
me lately…same as always I suppose. I know all of you don’t really want to read
long entries, so I’ll just summarize the past few weeks in bullets for
shortness…hehe…even though it's not going to turn out short!!
- Sociology summer class…almost done…one more week meaning two more sessions
- Volunteering with Central Transport Department at Swedish Covenant
Hospital…been loving it actually because of all the great people I meet - Cleaning up at home in the basement…yikes I still have more to do
actually…hopefully I’ll finish before I head back to UIUC - Been chatting quite late into the night with friends…hehe you guys
know who you are ^_~ - Trying my best to prepare for school that’s coming up in like two
weeks…what preparations you may ask…I guess you can include physically,
mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc… - Trying my best to cope with the change that some of my friends
will not be attending the fall semester at Chambana with us… - JULY
BIRTHDAYS: MARIANA, ME, JOY, SON, WALTER, DEAN, BRIAN C., ROGER, CASPER, LIZ,
MICHELLE, MIKE L. ....i know, i know i may have forgotten a
few...sowie...i can't always remember now >_< - AUGUST BIRTHDAYS
- Enjoying SKY RADIO!! You all should really check it out…they play
all the hottest Chinese songs, Korean songs, Japanese songs, and sometimes
English songs once in a while. Join the forum if you desire!

- July 23rd:
Shang’s visit to Chicago with the ride from Cheuk, Vincar and his
bro/sis who visited Chambana the day before. Too bad Mike D. couldn’t come
up too with you guys… - Met up at Woodfield…Michelle, Millie, Cindy, Tan, Shang, Cheuk,
Vincar, and me! - Decided to go to GameWorks…definitely had total fun there…was a
great experience since it was after all my first time there!! Played a
few games…hehe, I think I had won for some of them ^_^ yay!! I would
definitely go back anytime!! Daytona USA 2, House of the Dead, Harley
Davidson, bunch of racing car games, etc.!! - Ate at Rainforest Café in Woodfield Mall…finally after deciding
for the longest time…hehe yummy food there! It was my first time eating
there also…enjoyed my visit of course! Hehe…VOLCANO! - Chilled at Vincar’s house…very nice room there Vincar! Thanx for
them Korean dramas…I shall get more later…hahaha…LoLz!
- July 29th: MICHELLE’S BIRTHDAY!!
- Cindy and I paid our dearest friend Michelle a surprise morning
visit…breakfast in bed!!! She was really surprised! Hope you enjoyed your
McDonald Big Breakfast…but on a nice eating-ware and a pretty tray…ooo
with a bouquet of flowers & roses!! We love you! - Dropped Cindy off at work at the hospital.
- Lucas came to pick me up…yes, Lucas drove!! Met up with the rest
to eat dinner at Chili's in Village Crossing. Had a lovely time….but sowie
again to those who couldn’t make it and whom we couldn’t contact on time
due to very, very last minute planning. - Michelle leaves for California this Saturday…hopefully get to
hang out with her tomorrow…haha

let's see it's a saturday night and once again i'm at home cleaning up
stuff...which i don't really mind because i have to...there's piles of
stuff here and there in the basement--my responsibility
. soo how is everyone spending their weekend? i had a great yet stressful start to the weekend. on another note...
so sad one of my good and dearest friends won't be coming back to join us in school in the fall. 
why? i just don't understand...life just isn't fair...i'll definitely miss him dearly...
*sighs*
oscar, it's going to be so different without you there...even though we
would really like to think that you're just gone for a short week or
less....but this time you're not because you're not even going to be
there...and it's for real. it's not just something we're
imagining...it's yet still hard to believe.
anyway, back to a happier note...almost forgot to wish HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of my best friends Michelle
!! i'll post up her special birthday dedication later on! till then...bai bai everyone!

Well I guess it’s time for another update. I’ll just give a bullet list of what’s been happening to make it easier to read 
since I’m sure no one really wants to do now in the summer when school’s out unless you’re taking a summer course where you have to read like I am right now with Sociology—which for the most part is pretty interesting 
though & of course if you’re reading the new Harry Potter 6 book .
- Summer 2005 class (Sociology) <(^_^<)
- Volunteering at Swedish Covenant Hospital for the Central Transport Dept. (>^_^)>
- Saturday, July 16: had lunch downtown at The Signature Room in the John Hancock Building 95th floor with friends
- Sunday, July 17: 26th Annual Chicago Chinatown Summer Fair
- Cleaning up old junk, old school work, etc. in the basement d-_-b
- Helping with chores at home (>.<)
- Been missing out on going to the beach several times now…sowie Cheuk, Vincar, Joy, and everyone else.
Well, hopefully I'll get to do more stuff than just what I have already been doing the remainder of the summer. Enjoy it while it last, right?!

so it's almost Mid-July...summer's is like officially more than
halfway done now...kind of sad, don't you think? yet kind of exciting
because another year of school...college classes ahead of us!!anyway, just wanted to wish my other boy cousin Roger a belated Happy
Birthday!! and to one of my good friends, Brian C. a wonderful birthday
today!! ~*HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN!!*~ puahahaha...you're finally 19!
hehe, alrighty i guess i'll end my post here.just all a reminder about the 26th Annual Chicago Chinatown Summer Fair
located on Wentworth from Cermak to 24th Place around 10:00a.m. to
8:00p.m. this Sunday, July 17th!! you should all go and check it
out...it'll be fun!!
